Abstract
A method of treatment of bacterial infections in humans which comprises administering to a patient one or two unit dosages per day of a compound of formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen, a pharmaceutically acceptable salting ion or a pharmaceutically acceptable ester-forming radical, and PA1 R.sup.2 is hydrogen, a pharmaceutically acceptable salting ion or an in vivo hydrolyzable ester-forming radical.
