Abstract

In one aspect, dodecapeptides capable of inhibiting GH, insulin, and glucagon secretion and having the formula EQU N-acetyl-Cys-Lys-Asn-A-Phe-D-Trp-Lys-Thr-Phe-Thr-Ser-B-NH.sub.2 wherein A is Phe or 4-X-Phe wherein X is Cl, Br, or F, and B is Cys or D-Cys; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
