Abstract

Triorganotin hydantoin compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.8 -cycloalkyl, phenyl or ##STR2## R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, phenyl, hydroxyphenyl, or together they are C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -alkylene or oxygen, PA0 X is oxygen or sulfur, and PA0 Y is hydrogen or --Sn--(R).sub.3, as well as a process for producing these compounds, and the use thereof for combating pests are described.
