Abstract
A sensitive element is described for use with a strain sensor, which has low sensitivity to temperature. The sensitive element comprises a support, preferably consisting of a thin plate, on which is secured a piezoelectric resonator preferably shaped as a double tuning-fork. The deformations of the support are transmitted to the resonator thereby modifying the frequency of resonance.
