Lipolytic pharmaceutical composition containing 1-(4-hydroxy-3-dimethylamino-sulfonamidophenyl)-1-hydroxy-2-(1-phenoxy-iso propylamino)ethane or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof as the active ingredient, and a method of combatting obesity therewith.
