Abstract
Energetic orthoformates of the formula ##STR1## wherein R and R' vary independently and R is --CH.sub.2 C(NO.sub.2).sub.2 H.sub.3, PA1 --CH.sub.2 C(NO.sub.2).sub.3, PA1 --CH.sub.2 CF(NO.sub.2).sub.2, PA1 --CH.sub.2 CF.sub.2 (NO.sub.2), or PA1 --CH.sub.2 CF.sub.3, R' is PA1 --CH.sub.2 CF(NO.sub.2).sub.2, PA1 --CH.sub.2 F.sub.2 (NO.sub.2), or PA1 --CH.sub.2 CF.sub.3, and Y is --F, --N.sub.3, --C.tbd.N, ##STR2## and methods of preparation.
