Abstract
Compounds of formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and each is selected from halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy and alkoxyalkyl, PA0 R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are the same or different and each is alkyl; PA0 n is 0,1,2 or 3; and PA0 Z is a pharmaceutically or veterinarily acceptable anion, protect animals from death due to enteropathogenic E. coli infection of the gastro-intestinal tract.
