Abstract
A process for the preparation of fluoroanthranilic acid compounds comprises PA1 (A) reacting ammonium fluorophthalamate or a fluorophthalamic acid of the formula ##STR1## where n is 1 or 2, with an alkali or alkaline earth metal hypochlorite to form the corresponding fluoroanthranilic acid of the formula ##STR2## where n is as previously defined.
