Abstract

Substituted 4,5-dimethoxypyridazones of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently of one another are each hydrogen, halogen, nitro, cyano, carboxyl, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy, haloalkoxy, alkylmercapto, haloalkylmercapto, alkylsulfinyl or alkylsulfonyl and n is 0, 1 or 2, are used for controlling undesirable plant growth.
