Abstract

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support bearing thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, in which at least one of phenol cyan couplers having Formula (I) below and at least one of non-color-developable and diffusion resistive phenol compounds are contained. ##STR1## wherein, R.sub.1 represents a ballast radical necessary for endowing a phenol cyan coupler having Formula (I) and a cyan dye to be formed by the above-mentioned coupler with diffusion resistance; Ar represents an aryl radical; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a radical capable of splitting off through a coupling to an oxidant of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent.
