Abstract
A hydroformylation catalyst of the formula EQU L.sub.a CuCo(CO).sub.b L'c wherein L is a monodentate phosphine, a bidentate phosphine or a bidentate amine, a is 1-3, b is 3 or 4, c is 0 or 1; provided that, where b=4, c=0 and L' is CO, phosphine or phosphite. Where the catalysts have the formula EQU L.sub.a CuCo(CO).sub.4 the compounds are novel.
