Abstract

A process for making lightweight composite launcher pods in which a multicity of launcher tubes are wound on a multiplicity of mandrels and mounted in end structures of a mold and assembled into a generally rectangular mold structure and applying syntactic foam about the tube and spacer structure within the mold and finally curing the structure within the mold to provide a unitary lightweight composite launcher pod.
