Abstract

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is described, the material comprising a support having thereon at least one photographic layer containing at least one compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkenyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heterocyclic group, ##STR2## a substituted or unsubstituted silyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted phosphoric acid group, or a divalent group derived from the above-described groups which forms a ring together with the oxygen atom linking to --R and the carbon atom which is in the ortho-position to --O--R and to which ##STR3## is not bonded; R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 which may be the same or different each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group or a substituent thereof; Q represents an atomic group necessary to form a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring; R.sub.4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alke…
