Abstract
The invention relates to novel cephem compounds of high antimicrobial activity of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is phosphono, dihalophosphoryl, di(lower) alkoxyphosphoryl, O-lower alkylphosphono, diaminophosphoryl, (anino) (hydroxy) phosphoryl or (lower alkoxy) (morpholino) phosphoryl, PA1 R.sup.2 is lower alkyl or lower alkenyl, PA1 R.sup.3 is a group of the formula: ##STR2## wherein X is hydrogen, halogen or lower alkoxy, or a group of the formula: ##STR3## wherein R.sup.4 is lower alkyl, and Y is N or CH; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
