Abstract

This invention relates to novel tri-substituted guanidines linked to a piperidine ring. More specifically, it relates to cyanoguanidines of formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 are substituents PA0 n is an integer of zero to 1 PA0 n' is an integer of zero to 1 PA0 A and B are --CH.sub.2 --, CHOH, --CO-- or a single bond as well as the acid addition salts thereof with a mineral or organic acid. The compounds have interesting pharmacological properties which make them useful as active ingredient of medicines, e.g. antihypertensives.
