Abstract
An encoder for binary data encodes such data, two bits at a time into one of the four signals: ______________________________________ H H L L H L L H L L H H L H H L ______________________________________ where H and L represent high and low levels of the signal, where each of the four possible combinations of two data bits is in one-to-one correspondence with one of the four signals, each of the signals encompasses a baud having the duration of two bits at the primary data rate and the duration of each level is one quarter of the baud time.
