Abstract
Sound-insulating boards which are based on mineral fibers and thermoplastic binders and may or may not additionally contain fillers, flameproofing agents and water repellants contain, as the binder, from 4 to 20%, based on the weight of the mineral fibers, of polymers having a glass transition temperature of from 30.degree. to 80.degree. C. and consisting of not less than 60% by weight, based on the copolymer, of (meth)acrylates of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and as much as 40% by weight of acrylonitrile and/or styrene.
