Abstract
Antihypertensive piperazineethylidenebenzocycloalkanes are provided. These compounds have the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are independently C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, hydroxy, or halo, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 together can form a methylenedioxy bridge; PA1 R.sub.4 is H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl; PA1 n is 0, 1 or 2; PA1 m is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and PA1 Ar.sub.1 and Ar.sub.2 are independently phenyl optionally substituted with one or two of halogen, hydroxy, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy groups, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
