Abstract

The present invention relates to cephalosporins of general formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 is H or CH.sub.3, R.sub.2 is CH.sub.3, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 taken together form a 1,3-propylene group, PA0 R.sub.3 is lower alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or CH.sub.2 COO alkyl, PA0 R.sub.4 is H or OH, the S being bonded to the pyridine ring in 2 or 4 position, PA0 A is H or cation or ester or hemiacetal which is easily hydrolyzable, PA0 and X is a derivative of a mineral or organic acid. The invention also relates to a process for preparing these new cephalosporins and to the drugs containing said cephalosporins.
