Abstract

Disclosed is potassium perborate-hydrate of the formula KBO.sub.3.nH.sub.2 O where n is 0 to 1 and a process for its preparation by the reaction of H.sub.2 O.sub.2 with potassium metaborate in the presence of an excess of potassium ions.
