Abstract
A carriers for electrophotographic development which comprises essentially a disintegrated powder of granules consisting essentially of the compound represented by the formula EQU (MO).sub.X (Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3).sub.Y in which M is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Li, Zn, Cd, Cu, Co, and Mg, and X (mol)/Y (mol).ltoreq.0.85.
