Abstract
A vaccine for curative and prophylactic treatment of urinary tract infections in humans. The vaccine contains inactivated bacteria which originate from the cultures of 8 to 14 uropathogenic bacteria strains isolated from the urine of a person suffering from a urinary tract infection and aluminum phosphate in an amount of 1.5-10 mg of AlPO.sub.4 per ml of solution. Such bacteria are of the species E. coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus morganii and Streptococcus faecolis.
