Abstract

The present invention is directed to a process for the production of compression-molded materials by the compression molding lignocellulose-containing materials mixed and/or impregnated with polyisocyanates as binder in the presence of catalysts, the improvement wherein the catalysts used are latent, heat-activatable catalysts based on ammonium salts of the type which can be obtained by reacting PA0 (i) monofunctional or polyfunctional, primary, secondary and/or tertiary amines with PA0 (ii) alkyl esters of acids of phosphorus. or secondary and/or tertiary amines (i) with PA0 acidic alkylester of acids of phosporous (ii) under neutralization in substantially equivalent quantities.
