7-Aminoazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl or aralkyl, PA0 R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each hydrogen or alkyl, and PA0 A is nitrogen or CR.sup.4, where PA0 R.sup.4 is hydrogen, alkyl or halogen, and fungicides containing these compounds.
