Abstract

A method of combating plant pathogenic fungi which comprises administering to such fungi or to a habitat thereof a plant pathogenic fungicidally effective amount of a substituted tert.-butanol derivative of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are identical or different and represent azolyl, optionally substituted phenoxy, optionally substituted phenylthio, alkylthio, alkenyl, alkinyl, optionally substituted phenylacetylenyl, alkylamino, dialkylamino, optionally substituted phenylamino, optionally substituted phenyl-N-alkyl-amino, optionally substituted cycloalkylamino, optionally substituted cycloalkyl-N-alkyl-amino, aminoethoxy, alkylaminoethoxy or dialkylaminoethyoxy, or an acid addition salt or metal salt complex thereof.
