Abstract

Compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R is an optionally substituted aryl or heterocyclic radical, PA0 R.sup.1 is a hydrocarbon radical which is optionally interrupted by 1 oxygen atom in the chain, and/or which is optionally substituted, PA0 R.sup.4 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon radical having 7 to 14 carbon atoms, which is optionally interrupted by one oxygen atom and/or which is optionally substituted, PA0 R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each independently is hydrogen, an alkyl radical, an aryl radical or an aralkyl radical, or, for the case where one of the substituents R.sup.2 or R.sup.3 has the above-mentioned meaning, the other is hydroxymethyl, acetoxymethyl or amino, and PA0 X is N-R.sup.5, wherein R.sup.5 is hydrogen, an alkyl radical which is optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom, a morpholinoalkyl radical, an aryl radical or an aralkyl radical or PA0 X is an oxygen atom, when one of the radicals R.sup.2 or R.sup.3 denotes an amino group, or pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, exhibit hypotensive activity.
