Abstract
The invention relates to novel pyridazinylcarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, a cation or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, PA0 Y and Y' are each independently an oxygen or a sulfur atom or a sulfinyl or sulfonyl group, PA0 R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each independently a C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 alkenyl group which is substituted by one or more halogen atoms, PA0 R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, nitro, cyano, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy, or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more halogen atoms, and PA0 n is 0 or 1. These compounds have gametocidal properties and can be used for influencing generative plant growth and for producing male-sterile plants.
