Abstract
Disclosed is a compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein m is two or three; PA0 n is an integer from one to four; PA0 R is selected from the group consisting of: PA1 alkyl having one to six carbon atoms, PA1 hydrogen, PA1 HOCH.sub.2 --and PA1 R"O(CH.sub.2).sub.a --, wherein a is an integer from one to six and PA1 R" is alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; PA0 each R' in each CR'.sub.2 unit of the (CR'.sub.2).sub.m group and of the (CR'.sub.2).sub.n group is independently selected from the group consisting of --H and alkyl having one to four carbon atoms; PA0 X is selected from the group consisting of --O-- and ##STR2## and Y is a free radical polymerizable unsaturated moiety. Also disclosed are a process for preparing the compound, latexes containing the compound and coating compositions containing the compound.
