Abstract
Provided are new compounds having valuable therapeutic activity. These compounds are of the formula: ##STR1## and salts thereof, wherein PA0 X=O, S or NR.sub.2 ; PA0 Z=(CHR.sub.3).sub.n C(R.sub.3))OH)--, ##STR2## --CH.sub.3 .dbd.CH.sub.3 CR.sub.3 (OH)--, or --(CHR.sub.3).sub.n', M=--O--, --S--, or ##STR3## Z.sub.1 is an alkylene chain of 0-5 carbon atoms in the principal chain and a total of 7 carbon atoms; PA0 R.sub.1 is H, phenyl, naphthyl or a sulfur, nitrogen or oxygen-heterocyclic ring; PA0 R.sub.2 is H, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; PA0 R.sub.3 is H or CH.sub.3 ; PA0 n=0-5; and PA0 n'=1-5.
