Abstract
Dry recycle sorbent from a spray dry flue gas desulfurization system is fed into flue gas ducting upstream from a spray absorber to remove NO from the flue gas stream. The high temperature and high SO.sub.2 content of the flue gas upstream of the absorber enhance NO removal rates.
