Abstract
An apparatus for recording and/or reproducing digital information signal with sampling frequencies fs1, fs2, fs3, --- fsn comprising circuit for selecting one of the sampling frequency, and circuit for generating a field clock having a field frequency F determined by a following equation; EQU fs1/N1=fs2/N2=fs3/N3=--- =fsn/Nn=F wherein N1, N2, N3, ---Nn are the number of data words in one field.
