Abstract

The invention relates to a one-component formulation for detackifying, precipitating and coagulating anti-chipping coatings and underseal based on waxes, wax-like plastics and plastics dispersions and also synthic resin paints in wet paint mist separators of paint-spraying installations, using an additive which envelops the paint particles, which formulation comprises, as the additive, an aqueous polyurethane suspension which produces a paint sludge floating on the surface of the water. The invention also relates to the use of the above one-component formulation for detackifying, precipitating and coagulating synthetic resin paints and anti-chipping coatings and underseal based on waxes, wax-like plastics and plastics dispersions and also synthetic resin paints in wet separators of paint-spraying installations, a floating paint sludge being obtained.
