Abstract

A polycarbonate resin composition comprising a blended mixture of PA0 (A) a polycarbonate resin having a viscosity average molecular weight of from about 13,000 to about 18,000, PA0 (B) 0.0001 to less than 0.02% by weight, based on the weight of the resin (A), of an organic phosphine, and PA0 (C) 0 to 0.5% by weight, based on the weight of the resin (A), of a partial ester of a monobasic fatty acid having 10 to 22 carbon atoms with a polyhydric alcohol having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, the amount of the partial ester (C) being 0.01 to 0.5% by weight when the amount of the organic phosphine (B) is not less than 0.005% by weight, and said composition containing less than 0.004%, based on the weight of the resin (A), of chlorine.
