Abstract

Stable liquid dishwashing detergent compositions are provided incorporating an alkyl benzene sulfonate and/or alkyl sulfate, an alkyl ethoxy sulfate, an ethoxylated C.sub.6 -C.sub.13 alcohol containing an average of from 3 to 12 moles of ethylene oxide and wherein the ethoxylated alcohol contains no more than 1% by weight of unethoxylated alcohol and a zwitterionic surfactant containing a C.sub.10 -C.sub.16 alkyl group.
