Abstract
A method for processing an imagewise exposed silver halide color reversal photographic material which comprises processing the color reversal photographic material with a black-and-white developer containing at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I-a) or (I-b): ##STR1## wherein M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, or an ammonium ion; R represents a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, a hydroxy group, --SO.sub.3 M.sup.1, or --COOM.sup.1 ; R.sup.1 represents --SO.sub.3 M.sup.1 or --COOM.sup.1, wherein M.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, or an ammonium ion; and n represents an integer of 1 to 6; and wherein n is 2 to 6, each of said Rs may be the same or different.
