Abstract
Substituted N-3-(5-trifluoromethyl-pyridyl-2-oxy)phenyl-N'-benzoylureas of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 independently of one another are each hydrogen, methyl, fluorine, chlorine or bromine, and PA0 R.sub.4 is hydrogen or chlorine, with the proviso that R.sub.3 is methyl, fluorine, chlorine or bromine when R.sub.4 is chlorine, are active substances having an insecticidal and, in particular, acaricidal action. They can be advantageously used to combat zooparasitic and phytoparasitic ectoparasites.
