Abstract
Fused tetracyclic benzodiazepines of the formula (I): ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is a cyclic amine such as 1-piperazine and R.sup.2 is H or a substituent as defined herein are useful as LHRH antagonizing agents. Also, methods for their synthesis, intermediates used in such synthesis, methods for use as medicaments and pharmaceutical compositions are described.
