Abstract

Metal complex dyes that produce level, fast dyeings on textile materials are provided according to the formula ##STR1## wherein: D is a benzene, naphthalene or heterocyclic radical of a diazo component; PA0 Y is nitrogen or --CH; PA0 K is the radical of a coupling component if Y is nitrogen, or an o-hydroxyaldehyde radical if Y is --CH: PA0 Ka is a cation; PA0 Me is chromium or cobalt; PA0 Z.sub.1 is --O-- or --COO-- ortho to N.dbd.Y PA0 Z.sub.2 is --O-- or --NR vicinal to N.dbd.Y, wherein R is hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or phenyl; PA0 X is a fiber reactive radical bound directly to or through an amino or amino-containing group to the complex; PA0 R.sub.1 is a direct bond or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkenyl, or aryl radical or heterocyclic radical containing 1 to 3 sulfur, oxygen or nitrogen atoms; PA0 R.sub.2 is hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl or aryl; PA0 R.sub.3 is hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, aryl or amino radical, or a heterocyclic radical containing 1 to 3 sulfur, oxygen or nitrogen atoms; PA0 V is a direct bond or oxygen; PA…
