Abstract

An aqueous dispersion of a copolymer of PA0 from about 50 to 60% by weight ethyl acrylate PA0 from about 30 to 40% by weight methacrylic acid PA0 from about 5 to 15% by weight acrylic acid and PA0 from about 0.02 to 0.04% by weight of a polyethylenically copolymerizable monomer, for example ethylene glycol dimethacrylate. The dispersion is suitable as an additive for aqueous, mildly acidic preparations of hydrogen peroxide to impart an increased viscosity to them after neutralization. The hydrogen peroxide preparations in question are particularly suitable for use as a developer composition for oxidative hair dyes and hair bleaches.
