Abstract
A transdermal pharmaceutical dosage form comprises PA1 (1) a gel matrix comprising a water-soluble cellulose ether homogeneously dispersed in a major amount of the weight of said gel matrix of a plasticizer for said cellulose ether, said gel matrix having dispersed therein a pharmaceutically active agent; PA1 (2) a non-porous covering and PA1 (3) means for adhering the dosage to the skin of a human or animal patient.
