Abstract

Teichomycin A.sub.2 is recovered from whole culture fermentation broth of Actinoplanes teichomyceticus sp. or any similar microorganism producing Teichomycin A.sub.2 by extracting the broth with a water miscible solvent, such as acetone, acetonitrile, dimethylsulfoxide, n-propanol, methyl ethyl ketone or mixtures thereof.
