Abstract

The invention concerns and open-end spinning device having two friction rollers driven in the same direction and forming a spinning notch, whereby at least the friction roller rotating towards the spinning notch is made as a suction roller, conveying the fiber material fed onto its casing surface into the spinning notch. According to invention, a collecting groove for the arriving fiber material is provided at a distance from the spinning notch, said groove being constituted by the casing surface of the friction roller rotating towards the spinning notch and by a moving guiding surface. According to the invention the surface speed of the guiding surface in the collecting groove is synchronized with the surface speed of the friction roller.
