Abstract
An improving and therapeutic agent for neuropsychiatric symptoms accompanying dementia, which comprises, as an active ingredient, an acyloxyalkanoylcholine salt represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, represent lower alkyl groups of 1 to 5 carbon atoms; X represents a sulfonic acid residue; and n is the same as the number of the sulfonyloxy groups of the sulfonic acid residue and represents an integer of 1 to 4.
