Abstract
Antibacterial compounds of formula (I) ##STR1## wherein, R.sub.1 ' is alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; PA0 R.sub.2 is hydrogen or a carboxy protecting group; and PA0 Y' is a group-S-heterocyclic or pyridyl, which group may be substituted, and pharmaceutically or veterinarily acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same.
