Abstract
Polycarbon sulphide derivatives comprise units (R.sub.x CS.sub.m).sub.n in which PA1 R represents hydrogen, an alkali metal or a transition metal, PA1 x is the degree to which R is present in the carbon-sulphur structure, PA1 m is the degree of substitution with sulphur and PA1 n is the number of units in the polymer chain. As shown by the single figure of the drawing, the insertion of R is reversible.
