Abstract
Pyrazole derivatives of the formula I: ##STR1## wherein R represents a lower alkyl group or a lower alkenyl group atoms which may be substituted by halogen atom, PA1 X represents a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, nitro group, cyano group, a lower alkylsulfonyl group or trifluoromethyl group, PA1 n is an integer of 2 to 4, PA1 Q represents hydrogen atom; an aralkyl group which may be substituted by halogen atom, nitro group, cyano group or a lower alkyl group; benzenesulfonyl group which may be substituted by a lower alkyl group or halogen atom; benzoyl group which may be substituted by a lower alkyl group or halogen atom; phenacyl group which may be substituted by a lower alkyl group or halogen atom; a lower alkyl group which may be substituted by halogen atom; a lower alkenyl group which may be substituted by halogen atom; or a lower alkynyl group, and a method for preparation of said derivatives, a selective herbicidal composition containing said derivatives as active ingredient, as well as a method for controlling weeds using said derivatives.
