Abstract

New substituted phenylpiperazine derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 have the indicated meaning, and their physiologically tolerated salts and a process for their preparation are described. The compounds exhibit sedative and aggression-inhibiting effects on livestock. Furthermore, compounds of the formula I' ##STR2## in which n, A, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 have the indicated meanings, and their physiologically tolerated salts are claimed for the sedation and inhibition of aggression of livestock.
