Abstract

Electroconductive coats are applied by a process wherein the anode and the cathode of an electrolysis bath are composed of carbon fibers, filaments or sheetlike structures therefrom and the electrolyte solution contains a monomer and a conductive salt, the monomer being oxidized at the anode and deposited on the anode as a polymer and the conducting salt used containing a metal as cation, so that the metal is reduced and deposited on the cathode.
