Abstract
A piezoelectric ceramic composite material useful for use in underwater transducers or hydrophones, including an elastic organic matrix, and piezoelectric ceramic powder dispersed in the substrate and having a composition: EQU Pb.sub.1-x TiO.sub.3-x wherein x is a number of 0.005 to 0.12.
