Abstract
Detection of sialylated Lewis.sup.x antigen in sera is employed as diagnostic of the presence of cancer. Conveniently, monoclonal antibodies are provided which are shown to be useful in the diagnosis of a neoplastic condition, with a wide variety of different tumors. The hybridoma CSLEX1 was deposited at the A.T.C.C. on June 20, 1984 and given Accession No. HB8580.
